“Executive Coaching is an action-learning process to enhance effective action and learning agility.”  Witherspoon (1996).     “It is a process that enables learning and development to occur and thus performance to improve” Parsloe & Wray (2000).   The Coach works with the client to achieve speedy, increased and sustainable effectiveness in their lives and careers through focused learning.  (Rogers, 2004).  In addition, the client has the option on engaging in a Confidential 360 degree Emotional Intelligence Competency Measure to help them sharpen their awareness of their competencies as a Leader, and to highlight further for them where their performance can most effectively be improved.

Evelyn P. Gilmore

Evelyn is a Consultant Work & Organisational Psychologist, a Biodynamic & Integrative Psychotherapist, and a Business and Executive Coach. She is joint Director of Galway Leadership Center and Coach Institute of Ireland. Evelyn has an Honours Degree in Psychology from the National University of Ireland, Galway, (NUIG) and a First Class Honours Masters in Work & Organisational Psychology from Dublin City University. She trained in Psychotherapy at the Centre for Biodynamic & Integrative Psychotherapy in Kinvara, Co. Galway. Evelyn has worked at a senior level with World Class Organisations, and her current clients include individuals, groups and organisations from both the public and private sector. She is a Registered Psychologist with the Psychological Society of Ireland (P.S.I.), a Fellow of the Irish Institute of Training & Development, a member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council, and member of the Life & Business Coaching Association of Ireland. In addition, she lectures on Organisational Change in the Department of Management in NUIG.

Mike O’Halloran

 

Mike is the founder of Coach Institute of Ireland, a Gestalt Psychotherapist and a Business & Executive Coach. He has a BA in Philosophy (UCD) and a Master’s in Counselling (Durham University). In addition he holds the European Certificate in Psychotherapy (European Association for Psychotherapy). Prior to training in Psychotherapy and launching Ireland’s first Coach Training Programme he was Marketing Director for Golden Pages, where he worked for ten years, and he also worked as a Teacher in Northern Nigeria for two years. Mike has worked extensively in the Coaching field with Managers and Business Owners as well as being involved in Coach Training, and Advanced Training for members of the Counselling & Psychotherapy Professions. He is a member of the European Mentoring & Coaching Council, the Life & Business Coaching Association of Ireland, the Irish Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy, the Irish Association for Humanistic & Integrative Psychotherapy, and the European Association for Psychotherapy.
